Dear Wade: I want to thank you for all the good service you gave me the last seven years I was in Alaska. You were hired as a yard man,but you became much more than that. You took care of my lawn, cutting and trimming in the summer, raking and hauling the leaves in the fall. You spread dirt,seeded, fertilized the lawn. You promptly removed the snow from my walks and driveway in the winter. I think of the following other things you did for me. Tear down my old deck, built a new one and painted new one,repair and paint my dock, connected the lake pump each summer,painted the garage floor, built a wall beside my walkway,put ceiling in a bedroom closet. We have known Wade since 1999 when he started his business with one small truck and a lot of energy placing home made flyers on doors. Since then, he has become, not only our go-to handy man, but a good friend. Every winter, we can count on him to plow our driveway and keep it free from deep snow. I am writing this letter at the request of Wade Gillespie. I hired Wade in the spring/summer of 2009, to do what was supposed to be minor repairs to my home. The minor repairs ended up being much more work than was expected- and included replacing much of the foundation, new siding, new deck, plumbing repairs, and wiring issues, among other things. Wade and his workers spent many hours at my home over that summer. He was always professional, and took extra time to make sure I understood the process. He was punctual and his work was thorough.
Although I was unhappy with the state of my home, and the amount of work that
was needed, Wade made it much more bearable. I have called on Wade several times since, to do snow plowing or other smaller jobs. He is always ready to do whatever job, no matter how big or how small.
I am very pleased with the work done by Wade Gillespie, and I highly recommend him for any type of construction work that he may be applying for.
